Christie was a Ph.D. student in the laboratory from 2019 – 2023. Her project was to determine how elastic fiber defects contribute to changes in biotransport across the aortic wall in aneurysmal disease. She is currently working for Sandia National Labs in California as a Solid Mechanics Computational Analyst.
