Day in the life of our lab undergrads

Two of the undergraduates that work in the lab, Emily Chen and Brianna Duhart, made videos to show their daily life on campus and what it means to be a student at the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University.

Emily Chen is a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She has been working in the lab for a year studying how elastin amounts affect aortic structure and mechanical function. She will be a summer researcher in the lab through the Summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program hosted by the Center for Engineering Mechanobiology (CEMB) and sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Brianna Duhart is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She has been working in the lab for a year studying elastin coacervation and assembly. She will be a summer researcher in the lab through the Cardiovascular Research Summer Program (CardS) supported by the American Heart Association.
